SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - Mosier Elementary School in South Hadley is undergoing a feasibility study for renovation, with residents recently touring the aging facility.

The school, built in the 1960s, faces challenges such as limited classroom space, water damage, and the absence of a sprinkler system.

As part of the renovation exploration, options include upgrading building codes, adding new facilities, and potentially reconfiguring grade levels from the current 2-4 to 1-5.

"One option would just be upgrading all the codes, the next two options would be a renovation and addition," said Jennifer Voyik, Superintendent of South Hadley Schools.
