Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra is unimpressed with the snap judgments being made about skipper Shubman Gill’s form. He cautions that writing him off after just a few outings in the unpredictable T20 format highlights the growing tendency to draw quick conclusions.
Gill, who recently returned to the T20I squad as vice-captain during the Asia Cup, has accumulated 181 runs in the last 10 games with a strike rate of below 140.
Nehra, who has closely observed Gill as the GT head coach for the past two seasons, was asked if he was concerned given that the IPL is three months away.
