Retail inflation off record low, at 0.71% in November; food deflation narrows further

India’s retail inflation in November rose to 0.71 per cent, bouncing back from October’s record low as food deflation narrowed. Despite the uptick, inflation stayed well below the Reserve Bank of India’s tolerance band for a third straight month.
