An American tourist has confessed she "couldn't stop embarrassing herself" after making a series of blunders during her week-long Scottish getaway.

Angelica Primachenko, 27, spent November discovering Edinburgh and Glasgow, admitting she "fell in love" with both destinations.

The visitor documented her attempts at trying haggis, shopping sprees at Primark, and a string of cringe-worthy incidents that left her mortified.

Speaking to JamPress about her mishaps, Angelica revealed: "As for embarrassing moments...oh, there were a few. I didn't realise that most places in Scotland don't have AC, so asking the hotel receptionist about it definitely made me stand out."
