(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota Game and Fish are announcing a free ice fishing weekend at the end of this month. The free weekend will be on December 27th and 28th, allowing residents to fish for those two days without a license. This is meant to give people an opportunity to try fishing for the first time or take someone new. Residents 15 and younger don’t need a fishing license during any time of the year. Other winter fishing regulations still apply
