HURON, Ohio – Despite a difficult year for parent company Six Flags, Cedar Point generated record revenue in 2025 and came within a few thousand visitors of breaking its 31-year-old attendance record.

Cedar Point’s strong performance is even more remarkable considering the slow start to the season, when a cold and rainy May and June kept visitors away, said Colleen Murphy-Brady, the manager of Cedar Point.

“Once the weather settled, we had a bunch of pent-up demand and people showed up,” Brady told a crowd gathered Thursday at Cedar Point’s Sawmill Creek resort. “I can sit here today and confidently tell you that Cedar Point has never been better.”
