Winter has arrived and brought with it inches upon inches of joy.
You call it snow. I call it joy.
If you choose to stay in Northeast Ohio during the winter – and I do – you have to do more than make peace with snow. You have to celebrate it.
Savor it. Bask in it. Make angels in it.
As J. B. Priestly wrote, “The first fall of snow is not only an event, but it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of world and wake up to find yourself in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment, then where is it to be found?”
My golden doodle goes crazy in the snow, as if it’s the first time he’s ever seen snow. Every. Single. Day.
This quote should go on every home in Ohio: “If you choose not to find joy in the snow, you will have less joy in your life but still the same amount
