Ernakulam: A Kerala court on Friday sentenced six persons in the 2017 actress gangrape case to 20 of rigorous imprisonment.

Ernakulam District and Sessions Court judge Honey M Varghese pronounced the quantum of punishment for main accused Pulsar Suni and five others, reported Bar and Bench. ADVERTISEMENT

The six were pronounced guilty on December 8, when Malayalam actor Dileep, another accused in the case, was acquitted by the court.

On Friday, the court heard the six convicts on the question of sentence before pronouncing the punishment.
