EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Vanderburgh County deputies say a drug dealing investigation resulted in an arrest on Thursday.

Deputies say they started getting tips about 60-year-old Scott Knight over the summer with reports that he was dealing meth out of his home on South Bosse Avenue.

On Thursday, deputies say they executed a search warrant where they found over a pound and a half of meth, a few grams of fentanyl, and over $67,000.

Knight is facing multiple charges, including Dealing Meth and Fentanyl.

He had also previously hit a Home Depot employee with his car on November 29.

Officials say the employee had some injuries to their legs, but declined medical treatment.

Deputies say Knight was identified in that case this past Sunday and was arrested and charged with ‘leaving the scene
