BOULDER — A Boulder judge’s May ruling in favor of a local landlord who evicted Elon Musk’s X Corp. from its S’Park offices for nonpayment of rent was “deeply flawed,” lawyers representing the social media company formerly called Twitter wrote in a recent appeal.
Musk’s company is asking the Colorado Court of Appeals to set aside Boulder District Court judge Nancy Salomone’s nearly $8.3 million judgement, which she ordered the company to pay to landlord Lot 2 SBO LLC, a holding company affiliated with S’Park co-owner The John Buck Co.
In her May order, Salomone ruled that “Twitter unjustifiably stopped paying rent” at its 65,000-square-foot offices at 3401 Bluff St. in the Railyards at S’park building.
