Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd 's son is already following in their rhythmic footsteps.

Indeed, the Dancing With the Stars alums revealed that their 8-year-old Shai has found his groove when it comes to dancing.

"He's taking lessons," Peta told E! News' Erin Lim Rhodes in an exclusive joint interview with Maks. "It's really cute. He was in dance at like 3 years old, but that was just moving on the spot type of thing and it was just fun once a week."

As Shai has continued to improve, Peta and Maks—who also share sons Rio , 2, and Milan , 16 months—are taking cues from their son.

"Now, it's three days a week of dance," she explained. "He does pasodoble, and samba, and jive and cha-cha routines. We'll see where it goes. We're not pushing at all.
