Joanna Trollope, the esteemed author behind beloved novels showing the beauty and hidden cracks in British life , has died at the age of 82. In a statement, her daughters said that she died peacefully at home on Thursday .
Trollope's literary agent, James Gill, said in a statement: "It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Joanna Trollope, one of our most cherished, acclaimed and widely enjoyed novelists.
"Joanna will be mourned by her children, grandchildren, family, her countless friends and - of course - her readers."
Her notable books were published throughout the 1900s and early 2000s, with A Village Affair, Next of Kin, Other People’s Chil
