Russian President Vladimir Putin drew attention at an international forum in Turkmenistan after he appeared to wink at a reporter moments after concluding talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

A video of the light-hearted gesture, shared by RT India, is now widely being shared on social media platforms.

Putin and Erdogan were in Ashgabat for the International Peace and Trust Forum, which was held in honour of the 30th anniversary of the former Soviet nation’s declaration of neutrality. Leaders from Russia, Turkey, Iran and Pakistan were invited on the occasion.
