A Chicago man who avoided jail time after a string of violent robberies escaped from his ankle monitor and was arrested weeks later for molesting an 11-year-old girl, according to reports.
Davaughn Credit, 21, was sent home on pretrial release by notoriously lenient Chicago Judge David Kelly last year, only to go AWOL last month before he was found at a home in Indiana, where he allegedly molested a young girl he met on Snapchat, according to CWB Chicago.
The 11-year-old girl’s mother reported to police that her daughter had left their Chicago home without permission on Nov. 21, with her location showing her some 80 miles away in Rensselaer, Indiana, leading the family to believe she “may be with Davaugh Credit,” according to an affidavit obtained by Region News Source.
