WARREN - Students at Warren G. Harding High School returned to school on Friday after a power outage that canceled classes for two days.
Warren City Schools Superintendent Steve Chiaro tells 21 News that power was successfully restored to the school Thursday afternoon as crews with Ohio Edison and contracted electricians worked to restore the power.
The electrical issues began earlier in the week, causing Tuesday's Board of Education meeting to be moved to the administration building and continued into Wednesday and Thursday, causing classes to be canceled both days.
21 News has reached out to First Energy for information on what may have caused the outage and we're waiting to hear back.
