DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport man who was once the program director for a youth golf organization waived his right to a preliminary hearing in a child sexual abuse case.

An attorney for 38-year-old Scott Stowe , filed a waiver late Thursday afternoon, court records show.

As of Friday morning, Stowe remained in the Scott County Jail.

Earlier this month Stowe was charged with sexual abuse of a child.

Stowe is also charged in a separate drug case with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, first offense. He will be arraigned in that case on Jan. 8.
