ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. —

The Anderson County Coroner's Office is investigating after a body was found Friday morning.

Officials say the body was found along Welcome Road.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office said the Fugitive Investigations Unit was in the area and found the body in a ditch.

Authorities said they believe the body is connected to a car crash earlier this week.
