Snow, a smidge of it anyway, will arrive in Kelowna just in time for Christmas.
That’s according to the long-range forecast from The Weather Network, which says the next two weeks will be mild with most daily highs well above freezing.
Only for the three days before Christmas will temperatures fall to one degree below zero with only Christmas Eve showing any snowfall. And not much, either, with a forecast accumulation of less than one centimetre.
Weather in the Okanagan this week has veered from bright and near-record warm condition (Tuesday, 11 C), to ghastly all-day grey (Wednesday), to rung-out when the Valley was marooned in the shadow of a sky river that forced the closure of all three highways to the Coast (Thursday).
As of Friday morning, the Hope-Princeton was still closed, alt
