NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The North Charleston Police Department has arrested a man they say is responsible for a string of burglaries that started back in September.

Gerbrell De’Angelo Choice, 18, of North Charleston is charged with two counts of burglary in the first degree, two counts of grand larceny, two counts of obtaining goods under a false pretense and one count each of second-degree burglary and pointing and presenting a firearm, according to police.

Choice was arrested Thursday on suspicion of having broken into two homes in September and a third home in November. Several firearms, a generator, power tools and an air conditioning unit were among the items reported as stolen.

He also allegedly pointed a gun at a woman on Nov. 30.
