Connell Resources has ceased operations of its asphalt plant in Timnath's Ladera development and is building a new one in Weld County, the company confirmed Dec. 11.

The company previously announced this fall that it would cease operations at its Timnath asphalt plant at the end of 2025 . It has since done so and is in the process of reclaiming the site — a process that is expected to take 3 to 5 years to fully complete in compliance with state regulations, according to a statement from Connell Resources President John Warren.
