Hyderabad : G Ramesh defeated Hemanshu 6-3, 6-4 in the 45 years & above singles quarterfinal of the GVK-AISTA Senior National Tennis Championship at LB Stadium tennis complex here on Friday.

The results: Quarterfinals: 35 years & above: Kannan bt Srinivas Yadav 6-3, 6-3; Madusudhan bt Chaitanya 6-0, 6-2; Eshwar bt Narender 6-3, 6-4; ND Vijay bt DRC Kiron 6-2, 6-2.

45 years & above: G Ramesh bt Hemanshu 6-3, 6-4; M Armugam bt Kanuri Bujji 6-1, 6-0; Md Waheed bt MS Kiran 6-0, 6-0.

55 years & above: RN Ramesh bt RS Rawath 6-0, 6-1; La
