The J&K Police on Friday (December 12, 2025) said a local terrorist associate was arrested from Pulwama’s Awantipora area.

“In a major success against the terror network, J&K Police in Awantipora, along with security forces, arrested a terrorist associate involved in supporting terror,” the police said.

Acting on credible input about the movement of one suspect at Naner Midoora, one terrorist associate, identified as Musaib Nazir, Son of Nazir Ahmad Teli, resident of Ladhoo Khrew, associated with Jaish-e-Mohammad , was apprehended, and a grenade was recovered from his possession, the police said.
