A house in Sparta that sold for $1.4 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Sussex County in the past week.

During the past week, a total of 41 residential real estate sales were registered in the county, with an average price of $475,873. The average price per square foot was $252.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Dec. 1 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $610K, detached house at 5 Faith Ann Way

The single-family house at 5 Faith Ann Way in Sparta has new owners. The price was $610,000. The house was built in 1950 and has a living area of 3,618 square feet. The price per square foot was $169. The deal was finalized on Nov. 14.
