BISMARCK — The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library hosted a fundraiser at Republican donor Harlan Crow's Dallas home, linking the organization to a figure embroiled in federal ethics controversy.

At least one North Dakota lawmaker is concerned about the library's finances, but the project's spokesman says it's on solid ground and Gov. Kelly Armstrong says he has no worries.

Crow, a billionaire real estate developer, has drawn national attention for extensive gifts he gave to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, including private plane rides, a new house for Thomas' mother and lavish vacations.
