The State Election Commission, Punjab, will conduct the zila parishad and panchayat samiti elections on December 14, with the results to be declared on December 17. In view of the elections, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has re-scheduled all semester and final examinations earlier slated for December 13 and 15 across its affiliated and constituent colleges. The exams will now be held on January 2 and 3, 2026, respectively.
