NEW YORK (KCTV) - Former Missouri Tigers star Brady Cook will make his first NFL start on Sunday.

The St. Louis native is in line to start for the New York Jets due to injuries to Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor.

Last week, Cook got his first NFL action after Taylor exited a loss to the Dolphins with a groin injury. He went 14-for-30 for 163 yards and two interceptions in a loss.

Fields has been out with a knee injury for several weeks.

Cook, an undrafted rookie, will become the first undrafted rookie to start at QB for the Jets in more than 50 years.

Backing up Cook on Sunday when the Jets play the 9-4 Jacksonville Jaguars will be former K-State quarterback Adrian Martinez.
