HOISINGTON — The Hoisington Knights of Columbus Council will host a breakfast fundraiser to raise awareness of the Father Emil J. Kapaun’s life, heroics, patriotism and faith, and also to help the Council support Father Kapaun Memorial Fund and construction of a permanent image of Father Kapaun in the Kansas Statehouse. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Hoisington Columbus Club, 114 N. Main.
Members will serve eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and fruit with coffee, tea and water. A freewill offering is requested with all net proceeds going to the Father Kapaun Memorial Fund.
