Aldi has launched a brand new Christmas tree treat - just weeks before Christmas Day.

The supermarket giant is fully stocked with thousands of goods for the festive season, however, there is one which has particularly caught shoppers' eyes.

A new form of Christmas tree has been spotted, and it's not exactly as tall and leafy as you may expect.

This good is actually of the baked variety, and can be found in the cooler fridge aisles instead of outside with the other traditional Christmas trees.

Aldi's Cheese & Garlic Doughball Christmas Tree was spotted by savvy shoppers on Facebook group, NewfoodsUK, with some calling the cheesy bake "heaven on a stick."
