A man charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of his friend said he regrets punching the victim, accepts responsibility and wants it known he fully cooperated with police.
Trent Gray, 55, called PennLive’s newsroom Thursday to share his side of the story after being arrested twice this year: once in connection with the deaths of two cats by his off-leash dog and more recently, in connection with the death of Fred Moten, 61.
In both cases, Gray said he felt unfairly portrayed by the media and people associated with the cases. He is out on bail in both cases.
Gray wanted to share details beyond the police affidavit filed against him after Moten died from a traumatic brain injury, one month after Gray punched him.
