OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - Owensboro Catholic High School students gathered Friday for a dedication service for their new chapel.

As we’ve previously reported , the small gym at the high school was being transformed into the new Our Lady of the Assumption Chapel.

Officials say thanks to the generosity of its community, the school has completed the transformative project.

The second part of this project, the practice facility, is also nearing completion.
