WHEELER COUNTY, Ga. — A video on the Wheeler County Sheriff's Office Facebook page has sparked reactions across Central Georgia.

The video, posted Friday, shows "the Grinch" at the courthouse, stealing presents. Eventually, a deputy chases the Grinch out, and the chase ends in the Christmas thief being arrested.

The character, made famous by the Dr. Suess book and brought to life by Jim Carrey in the live action movie, was the focus of the video.

Their post described the chase as "a very dramatic, very low-speed Grinch getaway."

They said in the caption that the Grinch was "elbows deep" in the sheriff's office toy-drive box, trying to "swipe toys with his cold, tiny, two-sizes-too-small heart."
