CHARLOTTE — The classics, they never go out of style.
The Panthers are going with the traditional uniform combination this weekend against the Saints, with white jerseys and pants, along with blue socks.
It's the most-worn combination in franchise history.
The last time they wore it, it went well, as they came back from a 17-0 first-half deficit to beat the Dolphins 27-24 in Week 5.
Quarterback Bryce Young threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns that day, including the game-winner to rookie tight end Mitchell Evans .
Rico Dowdle also had a huge day, with 23 carries for 206 yards and a touchdown, and finished with 234 yards from scrimmage.
So, yeah, that worked out.
Adjust your wardrobes for the weekend accordingly.
