HOISINGTON — The Hoisington Knights of Colubus Council will host a breakfast fundraiser to raise awareness of the Father Emil J. Kapaun’s life, heroics, patriotism and faith, and also to help the Council support the Father Kapaun Memorial Fund and construction of a permanent image of Father Kapaun in the Kansas Statehouse. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Hoisington Columbus Club, 114 N. Main.
Members will serve eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and fruit with coffee, tea and water. A freewill offering is requested with all net proceeds going to the Father Kapaun Memorial Fund.
