A 22-year-old man has been arrested for a string of armed robberies and assaults across several city districts, according to Baltimore police.
Tyreek Leach, of Baltimore, was taken into custody on Dec. 8, shortly after an incident in the 1700 block of Windemere Avenue, which led investigators to connect the dots between that robbery and others.
The earliest dates back to Nov. 6.
The crimes occurred in multiple locations, including the 4000 block of Sinclair Lane, the 1000 block of Edison Highway, the 500 block of North Highland Avenue, the 1500 block of Covington Street, the 1700 block of Windemere Avenue, and the 3200 block of The Alameda.
Police noted that several victims were targeted while traveling to school or work.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
