The Ravens got a visit from a G.O.A.T. Friday, as Hall of Fame safety Ed Reed stopped by the Under Armour Performance Center.

Reed spoke to the entire Ravens defense in their meeting and then came out to practice. Head Coach John Harbaugh briefly paused practice near the start so Reed could talk to the whole team.

"He talked about brotherhood and the guys being close, and if you want to have that synergy on the field, that camaraderie on the field – you have to have it on the field, off the field, and in everything you do," Harbaugh said. "[You] get to know each other and care about one another. It was awesome. It was a great message."

Reed made it clear that he came on his own accord , not because he was asked by any Ravens coaches.
