East Cobb can boast a couple of Football Championship Subdivision freshman All-Americans.
Justin Krueger and Kobe McInnis, products of Walton and Wheeler, respectively, were honored as such by Sports Illustrated's FCS Football Central website.
A third-team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection, Krueger, a redshirt freshman, led William & Mary with eight tackles for loss and was third on the team with 52 tackles. He added two sacks, two forced fumbles and three passes broken up.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive lineman earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors with seven tackles, a sack and 1 ½ tackles for loss in a 26-21 win over Elon in October.
