FLINT, MI – A mother and son have been charged in a series of break-ins in Flint Township, police announced.

The Flint Township Police Department arrested Justin Ray and Gena Ray, son and mother, for allegedly being in possession of “truckloads” of stolen property from several break-ins.

The duo was also in possession of drugs and stolen vehicles, according to a news release from FTPD.

Both were charged with two felony counts of breaking and entering and two felony counts of larceny, but additional charges are expected, according to the release.

Investigators executed search warrants at four different locations while tracking the case.

One of the stolen items included family ashes, according to the news release. Some of the stolen items have been returned to their rightful owners.
