The New Orleans Saints ruled out two players for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, while another was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.
The Saints will have to see if safety Justin Reid (knee) can return from a one-game absence after the veteran practiced twice on a limited basis this week. But New Orleans will be without running back Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) and tackle Asim Richards (ankle).
“He was able to get some work in there and we’ll just see how the rest of the week progresses,” coach Kellen Moore said of Reid.
Kamara will miss his third straight game. The Saints avoided placing him on injured reserve, which would have required him to miss at least four games.
Though Richards is out, the Saints will get their usual starting right tackle back as Talies
