TYLER, Texas — The Wayne D. Boshears Center for Exceptional Programs celebrated its annual Santa Express this week, continuing a holiday tradition that has brought joy to Tyler ISD students for more than two decades.
The event began over 20 years ago under Carrier and was later carried on by Trane following the closure of the Carrier plant in Tyler. This year, the local union IUECWA, representing employees at the Trane facility, hosted Santa Express at the Boshears Center, helping ensure the long-standing tradition of holiday giving and community support continues.
