An update to post
Rolling Stone wrote an article claiming that the recent negative press for Taylor Swift drawing comparisons between her merch and nazi symbols, as well as racist lyrics in her song Opalite, were the work of malicious bots for some unknown reason.
Rolling Stone is known to be very favorable to Taylor. They've rated her last few albums 5 stars, including The Life of a Showgirl, and their website turns into a glorified Taylor billboard whenever she releases a new album.
Now it turns out, that the source for the article, Gudea, is actually an AI-powered narrative-shaping PR crisis company masking as a data analysis firm.
"Don't let others shape the public perception of your brand - get ahead of the narrative" they say on their website.
It's unclear who hired them.
