In years past, the Freeman Lady Eagle Classic has featured a field chock-full of amazing talent. Judging from Thursday’s opening round, the 29th edition of the tournament is no different.
The eight-team tournament features teams from three states — including Missouri, a Kansas state championship team and an Arkansas state championship squad — and affords local teams the opportunity to compete against some impressive teams as they prepare to enter conference play later in the season. ×
