That pretty well sums up the pep talk for these next two games for the Calgary Flames .
But as the Flames hit the road for their annual parents trip, the skaters and staffers aren’t the only ones feeling a little added expectation.
There’s pressure on the papas, too. A high standard has been set.
“Because when it’s been the Dads Trip, the last number of years, I think we’ve run the table,” reminded head coach Ryan Huska as the Flames’ equipment crew packed up for a two-game getaway to Los Angeles and San Jose. “So we’re hopeful that they’re able to continue to bring a little bit of that magic on this road trip and help us get a couple wins.”
Added veteran forward Blake Coleman: “Hopefully, they can keep tradition going here.”
