BIG RAPIDS- Ferris State University’s Tim Anderson has been named the 2025 Gene Upshaw Division II Lineman of the Year, marking the fourth time a Bulldog has won the award since 2019.
The Gene Upshaw Award is presented by the Manheim Touchdown Club and is voted on by NCAA Division II sports information directors. It recognizes senior or graduate linemen who excel on either side of the ball.
Anderson, a senior offensive tackle from Rochester, Michigan, has played a pivotal role in leading Ferris State to a perfect 14-0 record and the 2025 GLIAC championship. His performance on the offensive line has helped the Bulldogs achieve one of the nation’s most powerful offenses, averaging 53.8 points per game.
