(ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Fired University of Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore is facing multiple criminal charges following his arrest Wednesday, just hours after his dismissal from the program.

According to court records, Moore has been charged with felony third-degree home invasion, along with misdemeanor stalking and misdemeanor breaking and entering or entering without breaking. Authorities say the charges stem from an incident that led to his arrest shortly after the university announced his firing.

If convicted on all charges, Moore could face up to six years in prison, along with thousands of dollars in fines. Officials say additional charges could still be filed as the investigation continues.
