OMAHA, Neb. —

The Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium bought a couple of rambunctious reindeer in 1998 thanks to a secret Santa.

"We have a donor, who provided the funds to buy them," said a zoo worker.

The two reindeer were ready to hook onto anyone's sleigh with their incredible strength, which came in handy in some parts of the world like Finland and Siberia.

"The tradition of Santa Claus originated in that part of the world, and reindeer pull sleighs," he said.

They may not have had red noses, but they could dash, dance, and prance like the rest of them.
