Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza continues to collect postseason awards. On Friday night, he won the Davey O'Brien Award, given to the top quarterback in the country.

He also won the Maxwell Award, presented to the top all-around player in the nation.

"This season has been so special, not only for myself, but for all of Bloomington and the for the Hoosier community," Mendoza told ESPN. "To be able to bring the first 13-0 season in history is truly a remarkable moment. So many great moments, whether it was a comeback victory at Iowa, Oregon or Penn State. However I think the moment that topped off this season was the Big Ten Championship game against Ohio State. Saying that, we are not done and we look forward to making a strong run in the College Football Playoffs."
