ALTOONA, Iowa —

An Altoona man convicted of sexually abusing a child has been sentenced to 50 years in prison.

Court documents show Kenney Hunsley, 40, abused a child multiple times between January 2014 and September 2021. He was found guilty of four counts of second-degree sexual abuse in October.

Hunsley must serve a minimum of 35 years in prison before parole can be considered. If released, he must also serve parole for the rest of his life and be placed on the sex offender registry.
