SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Below-freezing temperatures are expected to hit the ArkLaTex in the coming days, prompting local experts to share preparation tips to prevent damage to homes and vehicles.
KSLA Meteorologist Evan Thomason said these temperatures will be significantly colder than typical winter weather for the region.
“Normally when we say it’s cold, it’s 30s and 40s, especially around this time of year. But these are getting down to the teens and 20s. These are like ten degrees below the freezing mark,” he said.
