Gundam, an iconic anime brand known for its plastic figurines, has opened its first United States location in suburban Rosemont.
Offering "an immersive" and "hands-on" experience for both first-time builders and fans, The Gundam Base Chicago marked its grand opening on Friday at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, according to a news release. The 3,000-square-foot location features Exclusive GUNPLA (Gundam plastic model) kits and merchandise, a dedicated play area for competitors, exhibit displays and promotional items.
