NORWALK, Ohio — Testimony continued Friday in the trial of a decades-old murder case centered on the death of Regina Rowe-Hicks .

Prosecutors allege that in 2001, Paul Hicks killed his ex-wife, placed her in the front seat of her car, and left the vehicle submerged in a pond in Willard. Her body was discovered inside the car several days later.

On Friday, prosecutors called multiple witnesses to the stand as they continued building their case, including Regina's uncle and one of Hicks' former girlfriends.

The first witness to testify was Jim Patrick, Regina's uncle. He told jurors he saw Regina's car parked at the home of one of Hicks' friends before she disappeared.

"I just glanced over, and I said, 'That looks like her car,'" Patrick testified.
